There are so many sites out there dedicated to vampires and werewolves and monsters of all sorts. This site is dedicated to the people who investigate them, and the characters who fight them. All fans are welcome, and we value your input. Please join in the conversations, announce news, make suggestions to improve this site, and tell us what you'd like to see here.
This old church is a safe place for those of us who fight to hold back the darkness. It doesn't matter if you're a grizzled veteran or a young buck just learning the ropes, if you fight against the things that go bump in the night, you are welcome here.
You can kick back with the other hunters in the War Room and have a cold one while you share your stories. You might even run into some of the more famous of us in there. Those Winchester boys have been known to drop in now and then, and I've even seen Mr. Van Helsing patching up his wounds in there from time to time. 'Course, they don't spend too much time here, they're too busy fighting, which is why they're the big guns, I suppose.
If you want to know their stories, or the stories of other hunters, famous or not so famous, check out the Journals. If you need to research for your next hunt, check the Library, and if you need to stock up check out the arsenal. Just remember to return what you borrow so its there for the next hunter to come along.
Me? I'm Helen Cross. My husband was a hunter. He got taken out by a nest of vampires some years ago, God rest his soul. I never was much good on the hunting side, I was more the researcher type. Now, I do what I can in his memory, which means running this place. Sanctuary is protected with every type of good mojo I could find. Every hunter needs a place to fall back to after a hunt, and this is one of those places. Harvell's Roadhouse is another, and there are more scattered around the country.
If you want to know more, go explore. There are plenty of books, and folks in the War Room will be glad to help you out. One thing most hunters have in common are strong opinions, and they are always willing to spout them to anyone who will listen. I've got work to get back to. Good luck.

Jericho returns
Fri, 02/01/2008 - 10:42pm — jinxI know that Jericho is a little outside the genre covered by this site, but in honor of the hard work of dedicated fans everywhere who saved their show (and it's a show very much worth watching) with the innovative "Nuts!" campaign, I thought its return to telivision was an event worth noting. I know I'll be tuning in.
The season 2 premire will air on CBS on Tuesday, Feburary 12, at 9:00. Check your local listings for exact time and channel information.
New Dresden Files Book

New Calendar Feature

Thu, 01/24/2008 - 10:00pm — jinxThe latest round of talks in the Writer's Guild strike are geting hopes up for fans everywhere that we may have a few more fresh episodes of our favorite shows if they can come to an agreement soon. I know I'm keeping my fingers crossed. This strike has been hard on everyone, and I will be very glad to see it end. But I am concerned about the networks dropping well written, action packed, thought provoking shows in favor of reality shows like American Gladiaor, Circus of the Stars, Survivor and Survivor clones, and a legion of other not-so-real, psuedo-scripted offerings.
