Hunter Graveyards were first mentioned in the short story "Birth" by Chris (Libra113) McWilliams where one somewhere out back of Bobby Singer's place is shown to Jo. They are placed on hallowed ground, fenced by elebrate iron fence work (loaded with protective symbols) and each gravesite (where the hunter's ashes are placed in special urns and burried) is marked with hand made headstones. The one behind Bobby's place is know to have markers for John Winchester, William Harvell and even Ash (last name unknown) who died in the destruction of the Roadhouse. A caretaker (such as Bobby) is given a sacred honor and is pledged to defend the remains and care for the graveyard at all cost, even their own lives, if need be. Recently, Sam and Dean have been alerted by Ellen of the murder of several such caretakers and the theft of remains... to find out the full story be sure to look out for "Ashes to Ashes" coming soon to this site.
