The Library

You push through the huge double doors into an area that used to be a part of the nave of the church. It takes up one whole transept, or arm of the cross layout of the church. The pews have been removed, and the walls are now lined with bookshelves, interspaced with stained glass windows. An old table fills the center of the room, piled high with books that have yet to be sorted and shelved. The ceiling arches high overhead, and carved saints and grotesques peer down upon these many quaint and curious volumes of forgotten lore.
