Sanctuary Fighting back the darkness with style.

About ten miles outside Lawrence, Kansas there is a sleepy little town called Stull. Stull is home to a cemetary that, according to legend, is one of the seven gates to Hell. It is also said to be one of the two places that the Devil visits personally on Halloween.
The legends vary on the details. Some say that Old Nick is there to visit the grave of one of his wives, and a variation claims he visits his infant son. There was an old tumbling stone church that was supposed to be the site of the portal, and supposedly the Pope had a flight re-routed to avoid flying over Stull.
The church has been torn down, and the graveyard fenced off and added to regular patrolls because so many visitors were destroying the graveyard (see article at
