Dear Authors and Readers web hosting, The year is winding down, and with it comes the realization that I've been running this site for over three years. The fanfiction section went up at the end of 2006, and what a time it's been! We currently have 49 authors and over 1000 members, and over 300 stories currently archived. In the last three years, we've had over 50k hits to the fanfiction section alone dedicated hosting! Since the site's inception, I've been running the entire thing out-of-pocket, including hosting and the domain name, both of which are up for renewal. The problem is that I don't have the money to do it this time. I've been out of work for over a year, and paying for the site has nibbled away at my already low finances. I've never asked for donations to run the site vps hosting, and I'm reluctant to now. The fact of the matter is, if I don't, the site will change drastically. I won't get into details, but it would be a messy move to a free site, we'd run the risk of losing comments, users, even stories. I'm not asking much, just that, if you can, please donate something to keep the site running. The donations will *only* go towards site maintenance, and a little will go a long way.
