Nightshifter

Getting ready for tonights episode, Nightshifter. Hopeing it's going to be a good one, come here to chat after it airs :D

Sorry I'm late.

Hey all. Sorry I didn't get round to posting last night, I didn't have control of the comp :( but I'm here now and here are my thoughts on Nightshifter :) lol

First off, poor Ronald :( he'd done such a good job and was a total innocent, it was sad that he died :(
I loved the ookie dookie bit and Dean wanting popcorn, (jinx you should get why lol) (popcorn fight lol)
That FBI guy was mean saying those things about John, I didn't like it almost as much as Dean didn't >( But how did he have all that info about John and how they grew up? Especially if he's only been after them a few weeks? He really has it in for them doesn't he? But I guess I can understand that, he doesn't know the truth and is only doing his job, and as far as he knows Dean is a murderer and a really nasty one at that (not that all murderer's aren't nasty but with the torturing women and all...you know what I mean?) and Sam is protecting him!
But there is some evidence left behind, the shifters skin, two lots!! And it's body, I was wondering about it's DNA, is it human, cause Dean said they're pretty much human, cause it started off human didn't it?
I also thought, if the FBI guy is chasing them a lot, them maybe he'd end up witnessing them fighting something really supernatural, then he'd have to consider the fact that they're telling the truth, I mean he must be pretty smart to be FBI in the first place. Surely he'd be able to figure out the truth, like Linda Blair's character did in Usual Suspects.

Ok, I'm gonna leave it there for now cause this post is getting really long. lol :)

You do have to feel sorry

You do have to feel sorry for poor old Ron. I mean, he just got caught up in it and in his search for the truth ended up dead. The okie dokie bit was cool 'Looks like Mr okie dokie is..okie dokie'.

I really don't know how he got all that information, although I guess they'd have their ways. Hendrickson seemed rather arrogant and I didn't like him at all and when he was saying everything about John and Dean's reaction it was like grrr *shakes fist* (Not really sure how to phrase that right now lol.) Also, the 'monster' remark was almost like a double entendre. At first you think 'shapeshifter' monster but he's actually regarding Dean as the monster.

Well, people only see what they want to see and if there is skin they may see it as something rather sadistic even if there is a dead body/live girl that matches the shapeshifters skin. As for DNA, I guess the structure may similar if not the same as a human if what Dean says is true. But to be honest, I don't really know. Lol. It's viable I guess.

I know Linda Blair's character figured the truth out and eventually believed it but I guess it depends what he see's them do. It's all very well seeing them fight something supernatural, something that couldn't really exist and trying to believe it. But he may still see it the way he currently does. It's just a case of seeing where both he and the FBI part goes.

I still think that this was a great episode and one of my favourites so far this season. *nods*

Yeah poor Ronald, he did

Yeah poor Ronald, he did such a good job with the tracking, and cut a lot of time and effort off their work, only to not have any common sense when it came to executing a plan :( RIP Ronald.

I think it's possible Gordon may have given the FBI info on the Winchesters past and present, cause he did say when he met them in Bloodlust that he knew about them, the they have a great rep. Oooh, that's weird to think about, other hunters like, sitting round a bar having a conversation about what the Winchester boys have been up to recently and how they've improved over the years, creepy! But hey, they're famous lol.

They not only have the shape shifter, but also two lots of skin that it had shed, I wonder what the forensic teams will make of that?

And you never know, Kripke maybe be really cruel and have Henrickson killed by something supernatural just as he's starting to believe them, and they get blames for that too, you never know, cause Kripke's mean like that.

But seriously, I don't think the boys can take many more blows, I mean they're really having a hard time of it, poor things. And all they've ever wanted to do is help people, oh and kill the SOB that seems to have made it it's personal mission to destroy their family (ok I know that's not the case, but it damn well seems like it!) But their parents have been killed by the YED, Sam's girlfriend was taken too. Now Sam's supposed to go evil or something so Dean might have to kill him, there's a traitor somewhere at the Roadhouse, so it's not safe there and now the FBI are hot on their heels!! Seriously, how much more can they take before they break? They're tough cookies, I'll give them that!

Oooh, I hope they don't have to get rid of the Impala, cause the FBI are bound to know it's their car, know the plates and stuff! And it's not a hard car to notice, :( hope they don't lose their car, it's part of the show!!

Ok, I'm just rambling now. I'll shut up lol :)

I loved the episode. I loved

I loved the episode. I loved the fact that they visited the Shapeshifter but took a new angle of it =) Especially because you would expect them to encounter some of the monsters/demons more then once at some point. And combining that with the FBI being on their tail was superbe. Shows continuity I feel and that they haven't been forgotten at all XD And through it all we still had the amusing comments from Dean. And I now have Renegade' stuck in my head *nods*

This one was one of my all

This one was one of my all time faves. I loved the badge thing when they went to Ronald's place, great nod to X-files. And Ronald yelling, "This is NOT a robbery!" that was classic. Oh, and the poor girl in the vault who was all, "He's sooo brave," then he came back with the gun and more prisoners, that was great.

And when Dean was on the phone with Agent Hendrickson... "My Dad was a hero." I was angry right along side him for the nasty things Hendrickson was saying about John.

I can't wait to see how they deal with the FBI being on their trail.
